| The farm is located in the northwest corner of Trempealeau County, Wisconsin five miles south and three miles west of the town of Eleva. It consists of 379 acres of rolling woods, brush areas and crop land. Approximately 100 acres are hay ground which is rented to another farmer for the hay crop. Maps contain diagrams where the wooded and open areas are indicated. The woods are generally hardwoods with some areas of pines. The topography is rolling hills with the farm limits generally at or over a ridge which borders the farm on the north, east and south. Photos contains pictures which were taken from the open fields toward the surrounding ridge. The wooded areas adjacent to the farm extend to the north and south for about two miles and to the east for some distance. This places the farm near the center of a much larger wooded area. All of the land adjacent to the farm is private land, however, some parcels have absentee owners and no structures. The farm buildings are generally grouped at the end of the entrance road, however, one 50' x 72' pole shed is located off the entrance road and is available for use by the lessee. The land is level enough at this shed to park a recreational vehicle. Electrical power and water are available. |
